Spotify Merch Store Design
For my UX Advanced Design Lab, I worked to redesign the merchandise purchasing feature for Spotify's mobile app. This product was not released to Spotify, nor to the public, and was specifically designed for a classroom setting. In this design process, I learned how to match the marketing and formatting of a preexisting application and how to blend my design into a preexisting product. Our proposal was to design a functioning user flow that allows all members, music lovers, and concert-goers to have the ability to purchase merch from their favorite artists without leaving the application.

Being located just outside Seattle, Washington, I have always had a passion for music and the visual arts, as well as an eye for good design. In furthering my education, I have chosen to combine my passion for the arts with my love for design and technology. In my schooling, I have been working to deepen my knowledge of tech and software, as well as integrating psychology into product design.
The brief definition of UX Design is "how a user interacts with and experiences a product, system or service". I focus on that exactly. How does your user experience your product? We have all been users for someone else's product design, and we have all experienced bad design. In tying in my knowledge of good design, pain points in tech, and psychology, I work to design products that cater perfectly to users.
